Bao 5 Pre-Shipment Reinspection: Compare Changed Condition

The first inspection establishes one stage of the candidate’s condition. Review consequential changes before handover and keep the updated evidence connected to the accepted file.

Start with the actual intervening events

Collect the accepted VIN, initial findings, dated photographs, recorded distance, installed-equipment list and proposed handover scope. List work, storage, custody changes and movements that took place afterward. The inspection checklist is a stage-specific file, not a permanent condition guarantee. Decide what needs a current comparison and what needs specialist affected-system review from those actual events. If part of the custody period is not attributable, retain that limitation without guessing who caused a mark or symptom. A similar-looking vehicle in a recent photograph is not enough to establish that the accepted candidate remains the unit being handed over.

Check agreed work and affected systems

Compare completion records with the operations listed in the purchase equipment schedule. Identify the responsible provider and any relevant installed-system change. Where pack, charging, thermal, hydraulic or assistance work occurred, arrange appropriate qualified evidence for the affected scope. The battery-intervention purchase review distinguishes the stated work from present acceptance. A workshop invoice alone does not establish independent clearance of every outcome. Retain further diagnosis and limitations rather than describing an unresolved symptom as fixed. Do not replace consequential functional evidence with an exterior clean-up or infer that the original examination covered repairs performed after its date.

Review storage and movement-related condition

Compare current exterior, underbody, leakage, tyres, starting behaviour and relevant operating observations with the original accepted scope. The low-voltage storage review and water and underbody review help target questions where actual events warrant them. A storage duration or environment does not prove damage by itself; obtain attributable current findings. Keep new observations separate from diagnosed causes and any unresolved responsibility question. If correction is required, agree its scope and completion evidence before treating the prior condition as restored. Do not prescribe the same replacement package to every stored vehicle or claim a fresh wash clears earlier exposure.

Match included equipment and legitimate access

Check keys, agreed accessories, tools and applicable account-transfer tasks against the accepted schedule. The keys and DiLink handover review distinguishes possession from working access and legitimate ownership arrangements. Retain an item list and attributable observations, without publishing unnecessary personal information or credentials. Ask the responsible carrier which declared items may travel with the actual vehicle and route; do not assume all camping equipment can be loaded inside. Missing included items should be resolved or explicitly accepted under the commercial scope. Physical completeness, legitimate software access and transport acceptance are separate tasks, and checking one cannot establish all the others.

Keep release decisions separate from transport processing

The shipping guide describes the movement file, but current physical examination does not itself finish origin documentation, carrier acceptance or destination approval. Confirm applicable handling and preparation requirements with the responsible professionals for the actual route. Do not prescribe one universal loading, energy-level or accessory rule across different carriers. If a newly observed condition affects acceptance, identify the required action and evidence before the proposed handover stage. Retain booking or documentary status separately from the inspector’s findings. A scheduled movement is not proof that changed vehicle condition is already accepted, nor does a clean condition comparison promise a particular arrival date.

Deliver a connected updated record

Retain reinspection date, candidate identity, selected scope, current observations, completed operations and accepted limitations alongside the original file. Show what changed rather than handing the buyer two unexplained photo sets. The arrival first-month review remains necessary because origin findings cannot establish condition after later transport. Ask for attributable arrival observations where movement may have altered the vehicle. A substituted unit requires a renewed candidate review, not simply another final photograph. The closing file supports the stated acceptance stage and the agreed commercial responsibilities; it does not guarantee every future component outcome, shipment event or destination registration result.

Compare the acceptance conditions

Stable condition
Retain current identity and attributable comparison within the chosen scope.
Affected condition
Review intervening work or events with suitable completion and examination evidence.
Open acceptance
Resolve consequential findings and missing included items before the proposed handover.

Buyer evidence checklist

  • List the intervening work, custody and movement.
  • Match completion evidence to agreed operations.
  • Review actual storage and affected-system questions.
  • Check keys and included items separately from carrier rules.
  • Connect the updated file to later arrival observations.

Questions before you buy

Must every original test be repeated?

Scope depends on actual events and findings; consequential changes may require broader examination.

Can origin reinspection guarantee arrival condition?

No. Later movement and arrival need their own attributable observations and review.
